WELCOME
Mary's Room is an Outreach Program of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Watertown WI serving the infants and children of Watertown and surrounding communities through God's abundant grace.
Our
Mission Statement
Mary's Room is dedicated to fostering the well-being of infants and young children through facilitating the donation, collection, and distribution of furniture, clothing, diapers, and other basic items for children to families while assisting them to achieve economic independence. Mary's Room focuses on families located in Watertown WI, and Jefferson and Dodge Counties.
Mary's Room is open three times a week. Please see Our Hours page. During our work hours, we have three volunteers to run Mary's Room. During our open hours, individual families come to Mary's Room to collect diapers, toiletries, formula, clothing, furniture, blankets, toys, books, and much more.
We accept donations of new or clean preowned clothes, toys, books, etc. Please see the Donations page. See a Mary's Room volunteer when dropping off donations.
On average, we currently serve about 80 households and 100 children each month. Our families are low-income parents.
What
We Do
How
Mary's Room
Works
If you come to Mary's Room for the first time you will register with your driver's license, a bill, or other ID to show your address. We serve families in Watertown and surrounding communities. WIC registration or a referral form is required. A one-time emergency assistance is also available.
When visiting Mary's Room bring your WIC card or a filled-out referral form. Only the WIC card owner or referred person may obtain services on behalf of the eligible children.
We are looking to build our community through food classes and special interest classes for parents and a playgroup, especially for Spanish-speaking families.
We would like to have an increased presence of interpreters for our non-English speaking parents.
We would love to build our bilingual library and add more inclusive books.
You can be part of this great future by donating and helping us grow!
